About Ali
Peachland is home by choice.
Born in Paris, France, I have spent more than 40 years in Canada, including many years in North and West Vancouver before making Peachland home.
My career has been built around business, leadership, customer service and problem-solving. I spent many years in the automotive industry, including leadership roles with Audi and Volkswagen, before eventually bringing those skills into my own technology business.
I'm also a father, an uncle, a grandfather, long-time soccer coach, car enthusiast — and someone who believes strongly in giving back to the community I call home.
Community has always mattered to me
I’ve been involved in youth soccer for many years as a coach, and here in Peachland I’ve continued that commitment to youth, families and community.
My local involvement has included the Peachland Wellness Centre, supporting the soon-to-start Men's Shed, the Peachland Classic Car Show, soccer, and community events.
As a co-founder of the Peachland Youth Activity Grant, I'm proud to help ensure that financial circumstances don't prevent local children from participating in activities.
And of course, many people simply know me as the "local IT guy" they call when technology refuses to cooperate.
From community involvement to Council
In March 2026, Peachland residents elected me to Council in the by-election.
Those months on Council have given me first-hand experience with the major decisions facing our community—from water security and wildfire preparedness to infrastructure, growth and protecting the character of Peachland.
I've also had the opportunity to represent Peachland directly in meetings with provincial ministers and senior government officials.
I believe good local government starts with listening, asking questions, understanding the facts and finding practical solutions.
“I’m not just running for Council — I’m committed to helping Peachland thrive, together.”
Thank you for your support as I work to continue being a positive voice on Council.
